Shipping

Free Shipping 
We currently offer Free Ground Shipping on most items. 
Please note that orders placed around the same time and addressed to the same recipient at the same location may be combined into one shipment. 

When will my order arrive?
If you select Free Ground Shipping, you'll receive your order of in-stock items within 7-10 business days. If you select Premium Shipping, you’ll receive your order of in-stock items within 3-5 business days.
Please note that we don't currently offer other shipping options such as 2-day or overnight.

Back-Ordered Items 
We endeavor to ship your orders as quickly as possible. Since many of our goods are handmade in small batches overseas,
they can sometimes have a delayed shipping date.  Should the expected date of your backordered items change
to a later date, you’ll receive a notice from us. .

Returns and Exchanges


A big “Thank You” for your purchase and we hope you love it, but if that’s not the case, we’ll make it right.
We are 100% committed to the satisfaction of our valued customers.

Returns
You may return unused, undamaged items within 14 days of delivery. Be sure to keep all tags/packaging intact and include a completed Order Return Form so that your refund can be processed. We recommend that you use a trackable shipping method so that delivery to us can be verified.
We’ll issue your refund within 10-14 business days of receiving your return. 

Refunds are issued in the same form as the initial payment.

Defective/Damaged Merchandise

At Show Your Africa, we strive for excellence. Our detailed Quality Control process is in place to ensure your goods are free of defects. We make every effort to ensure order accuracy and proper packaging so that your goods are worth the wait. However, if your items are damaged in transit or arrive with defects, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at orders@showyourafrica.com.
We’ll gladly issue a store credit so that you can reorder the item or purchase something else.

In some cases, an investigation will be open with the carrier. Please allow up to 14 business days to arrive at a resolution.
Once the carrier reaches a decision, we will issue you a store credit.

Should we request the item sent back to us, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label. 

Exchanges

Exchanges are an easy two-step process: Return and Repurchase. Many of our products are made in small batches, so to make sure you get the item you want,
we recommend that you place your new order before you return the original purchase.

Gift Exchange

Prior to returning a gift, send us an email at orders@showyourafrica.com so that we can provide you with a return authorization and issue you a store credit upon receipt of your return. For instructions on how to return your gift, please refer to the Returns section above.

Undelivered Packages

In the event that you did not receive an order that was delivered per tracking information, please contact us within 3 days of the supposed delivery date at orders@showyourafrica.com. An investigation will be open to track the package. Please allow up to 14 business days to arrive at a resolution.
Once the carrier reaches a favorable decision, we will issue you a store credit.
A refund will not be issued.


Care and Assembly


Hand-dyed Fabrics


The rich color of hand-crafted fabrics may transfer to other fabrics when laundered. Wash hand-dyed fabrics separately or with like colors. Exercise care when this product is in contact with light colored surfaces.
Due to the natural drying process, washing is recommended before use.
Machine wash cool on gentle cycle, iron whilst damp, and use only non-chlorine bleach when needed.
 
Jewelry

Jewelry should be considered delicate ornaments and treated as such.
It is important to keep jewelry away from water and moisture. It is strongly recommended that you do not wear your jewelry during activities such as swimming, sports, washing, and periods of excessive sweat.
To aid care and safe keeping, a complimentary storage pouch or box is provided with each jewelry purchase. Wipe with soft cloth after use and return to protective pouch or box. Store jewelry in a cool dry place.
Stretch cord necklaces and bracelets should be carefully extended
only to the extent necessary to put them on. They should never be used for purposes for which they are not intended. Should your stretch cord jewelry become slightly overextended, it is likely to recover when left in a cool room for 24 – 48 hours.

Watches
 
Our watches are made of genuine leather and quality wood.
It is important to keep watches away from water and moisture.
It is strongly recommended that you do not wear your watch during activities such as swimming, sports, washing, and periods of excessive sweat.
To aid care and safe keeping, a complimentary wood case is provided with each watch purchase. Wipe with soft cloth after use and return to protective case.
Store watches in a cool dry place.

Home Decor

To keep décor items free of dust, wipe as needed with dry cloth and display in areas where they are not likely to be damaged.
